II Approval

Minutes from March Rep Council – Secretary (Rob) - 5 min. Approved Unanimous voice vote

Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer (Julie) – 5 min. – Approved (Peter 2^nd Sandra Main)

Motion to increase stipends for Exec Board by 100 – Motion (Peter) 2^nd Pamela Thomassen) 13-0-1

III Building Concerns --- Write down on form provided – 20 min.

1. (Sandra Main - MW) District Nurse – believes she is to be furloughed…clarification needed

2. (Gary Gairaud – PMS) Concern over how CTA is handling RIF hearings

IV Old Business

1. RIFs and Non-re-elects – Lina – 5 min. Also covered in III – 2 Most “RIF’d” teachers have been “de-RIF’d” ….19 still on the list: mostly counselors and elementary music

2. Organizing Team – Katie Angarano – 5 min. Pins will be distributed Wear April 29 & May 1st

3. Special Ed – Susan S. – 5 min. Negotiators met with Special Ed people to get information for working conditions, class size, case management, etc.

4. Negotiations Update– Joe/Lina delayed ~

   1. Meeting dates and discussions Expectation of not using class hours and subs not reasonable. Agreement to mutually decide locations

   2. Ground rules, press releases….each side can send out their own press releases
